ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

We at The Sacred Movement view yoga as a spiritual practice, as a path to self-realization, union, contentment, resilience, sovereignty, conscious connection, deepened awareness and mindful living. We understand Yoga extends beyond the time on the mat, and becomes alive as we embody our spiritual essence in the world for the purpose of creating positive impact in our communities, and beyond.

We strive to share the practice of Yoga with integrity, rooted in the Gauḍīyā Vaiṣṇava lineage, while bringing in the lens of modern science and psychology, to create a one-of-a-kind trauma-informed curriculum designed to support individuals in developing the skills to practice and share Yoga with individuals from all walks of life.
